Take-out Container Stamps

Repurposing is the “in” thing to do these days.  So let’s create a stamp using foam take-out containers.

Here’s how.  First clean and dry your foam container.  Then cut the bottoms out so you have a nice flat piece.  Then use a dull pencil or anything with a rounded tip, to scratch on your design.

These handy plastic tools came with a craft-dough set.

Remember if you plan to make letters you’ll need to scratch them on backwards.  Next, brush on a light coat of poster paint onto your design.  Then press it on a piece of paper.  Reapply another coat of paint each time you print.  You can use this cool stamp of yours to make your own unique wrapping paper or maybe even some greeting cards.

Looks great!
